The Dodge County Smokers BBQ team was established in the summer of 2005. We have been voted the best BBQ team on our block. The vote was close, but somehow we pulled it off.

Competing mainly in Kansas City and the surrounding areas, our team is made up of Mission, KS neighbors Chris Nickelson and Neal Dunker. Our smoker was built and is owned by Richard Dunker of North Bend, located in Dodge County, Nebraska.
